Trend No. 1: Old-School Athletic

Instead of full-on tracksuits, the cool kids will be mixing their dresses and jeans with some vintage tube socks and 70s-inspired graphics. Fans of "The Royal Tenenbaums" rejoice!

Trend No. 2: Mixed Graphics

While a motorcycle jacket might seem to be a bit grown-up for someone who just mastered a two-wheeler, mixing it with a sweet, graphic skirt or dress makes it age appropriate. Also, close inspection reveals that the patches are not for the local chapter of The Nomads but a strawberry, unicorn and butterfly.

Trend No. 3: Camp Shirt

Why should the big guys have all the fun? Just as Hawaiian, bowling and camp shirts have taken menswear by storm, the cool kids will be wearing playful, short-sleeved shirts like this Oso & Me Robinson Shirt in an octopus print.

Trend No. 4: Picnic Plaids

Bolder that a traditional gingham, these BIG prints say, "Check me out." The dress-and-trouser combo is a fun way to tie a brother-sister picture together. And major style props to any guy who doesn't accidentally wear a pajama top to school, but owns it.

Trend No. 5: Spring Florals

We never get tired of florals. The new crop for spring is super-cute, super-sweet and selling fast. Just sayin'.
