Taxes & Duties

Taxes
For US orders, Maisonette does not collect taxes in all states. Your purchase may be subject to sales and use tax. Depending on your state, you may be exempt from sales tax—some states require a tax return at the end of the year for purchases made online.
Duties
If you are buying a product from a country outside of the US, duties are included in the price of the item. If the total of your shipment is over $800, you may be subject to relevant import duties charged by your carrier.

Cancellations

Due to our marketplace model, we cannot guarantee any cancellations or changes once your order has been completed, but we are typically able to make changes to orders that have not yet been shipped. Orders that have already shipped cannot be changed or canceled. If your order has already been dispatched, our support team will be happy to set up a return for you. Please note that we will not be able to accept a return for any items marked as Final Sale. If you want to cancel or make changes to your order, please reach out to our support team at customercare@maisonette.com.

Returns

Maisonette is happy to offer free returns for a full item refund to your original form of payment for all eligible items shipped within 14 days of receipt.

Returned items must be in their original conditions - unworn and undamaged, with the security tag still attached, and ideally in original packaging if applicable. If you are a gift recipient and need to make a return, then we will refund you in the form of Maisonette store credit for any future purchases on our site, if your items(s) is eligible for a return. Please note that some of our items are final sale. Final sale status can be found on the website product listings, in checkout and in your order confirmation, but generally applies to art, furniture, custom-made items, items shipping from international vendors, and discounted products.

To process a return, please contact Maisonette Customer Care at customercare@maisonette.com. In most cases, Maisonette’s vendors are able to provide a pre-paid return label, but in the event that one is not included in your shipment, then we are happy to provide you with one via email.

For shipping, please package your unworn, undamaged items, with the security tag still attached, in the box that it was sent in, and affix the return label. To arrange a collection with UPS, contact your local service center at 800-823-7459 or drop off at your local UPS Store.

Conditions

  • Final sale items are not eligible for return. Final sale status can be found on the website product listings, in checkout and in your order confirmation, but generally applies to art, furniture, custom-made items, items shipping from international vendors, and discounted products.
  • Returned items must be shipped back (eg, picked up or processed by UPS/other mail carrier) within 14 days of receipt.
  • Returned items must be in their original conditions - unworn and undamaged, with the security tag still attached, and ideally in original packaging if applicable.
  • Refunds will be processed back to your original form of payment.
  • If you are a gift recipient and need to make a return, then we will refund you in the form of Maisonette store credit for any future purchases on our site.

Freight service

Items meeting a specified weight/dimension criteria will ship via freight service—the carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery.
