Montessori Movement at Home

Designed with Montessori values in mind, the Walnut lets children choose their own route, test their limits and build strength, coordination and sensory awareness at their own pace. It suits toddlers from 1 year old through the pre-teen years.

Premium New Zealand Pine

The Walnut is crafted from premium, FSC-certified New Zealand pine rather than the plastic or particle board used by many other brands. It holds up to 220 pounds per person and 500 pounds in total, so siblings can play together and adults can use it for stretching and exercise. The finish is designed to look sleek in any room.

Safety Certified

The Walnut is ASTM and CPSIA certified, with robust construction, no sharp edges and no finger traps. The varnish finish is BPA-free, and every Walnut is covered by our five-year warranty.

Two Heights

Choose the 94.5 inch Walnut for ceilings of about 8 feet or more, or the 78.8 inch version for lower ceilings and basements. Both are 78.7 inches wide and about 25.7 inches deep, extending to 65.3 inches with the slide attached.

Secure Wall Mounting

The Walnut bolts securely into your wall studs and is built to stay put through years of daily climbing. Most families finish assembly in an afternoon or two, and it is easiest with two adults. The manual and assembly video are linked on this page.

Regular or Modular

The regular Walnut has a fixed layout. The Walnut Modular splits into three interchangeable panels (Swedish ladder, rock wall and rope wall) that can be installed in any order, across multiple walls or around a corner, and expanded with extra panels.
