STEM Mechanics: Gears & Worm Drives

STEM MECHANICS: GEARS & WORM DRIVES - Construction Set is a hands-on educational kit designed to help children understand how mechanical systems transmit and transform motion. Learn how gears can easily reduce or increase speed, change force or transfer motion from one position to another. Discover how worm drives are used to greatly reduce rotational speed and how screws can convert rotational motion to linear, while greatly increasing force. BUILD 12 MODELS: With 112 pieces, kids can build up to 12 different models while exploring the principles behind gears and worm drives. Build working models such as an experimental crane, a gearbox, a carousel, a helicopter, a screw press and a crane with a rotating arm. EASY INSTRUCTIONS: You can find easy-to-follow building instructions for all models either online or in the booklet included. DETAILED BOOKLET & QUIZ SECTION: The booklet provides detailed explanations of the different scientific principles applied and incorporates innovative experimental activities for hands-on learning. A Quiz section is also available to challenge your newly acquired knowledge! Through building and experimenting with different models, children gain a clear understanding of how gears and worm drives are used in real-world machines and devices. The NON-MOTORIZED DESIGN encourages focused, quiet play while supporting experimentation and discovery. As children assemble and rebuild models, they naturally develop problem-solving skills, spatial awareness, and fine motor coordination through engaging STEM-based learning. PATENTED CONNECTING SYSTEM: Creative snap fit. Easy assembly and construction. EXTRACTION TOOL: For easy disassembly of small parts. Option 1: Squeeze the tool to disassemble small parts. Option 2: Push into the hole to pop-out the locked part.
