Based on an original watercolor painting by Sally King McBride, the Flower Alphabet is a veritable watercolor garden. Inspired by the beauty of her late grandmother’s rose garden, Sally imagined the letters of the alphabet taking shape as the flowers she painted: A for Anemone, J for Jasmine, M for Magnolia, V for Violet

About The Letter Nest:

Sally King McBride is a New York City-based artist and illustrator. Before launching The Letter Nest, she worked for over ten years at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and studied art history at Brown and Columbia Universities. Her watercolor alphabets derive from a rich artistic vocabulary built over the course of these experiences; her motivation comes from two young sons still learning their ABCs! Her work—both delightful and educational—will bring joy to any nursery, bedroom, or playroom.
