What inspired you to become a designer?

I realized that this fascination or rather addiction I have with design was one I couldn’t ignore. This led to the formation of my blog Design Addict Mom which provided an outlet to showcase my love and passion for design.


What is the best piece of design advice you would have ever given or received?

Design for the way people live.

How would you describe your aesthetic?

Bold and colorful!

What are your favorite tricks for a quick home refresh?

Painting a room or even an accent wall is a great way to refresh a space. Additionally, simply rearranging furniture or changing out accessories like throw pillows and rugs can work wonders when doing a quick refresh.

Where do you like to start when putting together a room?

The color palette or an inspiration piece.

What would you say to the novice when it comes to designing their home...someone who is overwhelmed by all the choices and styles?

Take your time. Your home should be a reflection of you, so take your time to get to know what you like and how each room functions. As they say, "It’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon.”
