Nap Mats
Nap time away from home goes a little more smoothly when the setup feels familiar. This edit brings together soft, easy-to-pack nap mats from Bloomere, Fort Weekend, Makemake Organics, and more, including roll-up styles with built-in pillows and blankets that make daycare, preschool, and overnights a bit simpler.
Look for something that folds or rolls up neatly, is easy enough for little hands to carry, and can handle regular washing without drama. Machine-washable fabrics are especially helpful once a nap mat enters the daycare rotation, and a name label saves everyone from the daily game of "whose is this?" For the rest of the wind-down routine, browse kids pajamas or add a favorite from plush toys for comfort before rest time or once they're back up and moving.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are the nap mats machine washable?
Many are designed with regular washing in mind, which is exactly what you want for daycare and preschool. Care instructions do vary, though, so check the individual product page before tossing anything into the machine with heroic confidence.
Do nap mats come with a pillow and blanket?
Some do. Several roll-up styles bundle the mat, pillow, and blanket into one easy-to-carry setup, which cuts down on the number of separate things that have to make it to school and, ideally, back home again.
Are these good for daycare or preschool?
Yes, many are made for exactly that kind of routine. A compact roll-up design, carry handle, washable fabric, and clear name label all make life easier. It's also worth checking your daycare or preschool's specific nap-time requirements before choosing one. For extra comfort outside sleep time, browse plush toys.
