Merrilee Liddiard, author of “PLAYFUL: Fun Things to Make With and For Kids” and founder of @mer_mag shares an easy, DIY gift topper to make your holiday gifts feel extra special.
Step 1: Gather your supplies: -Printed template -Wool felt -Wool felt balls -Needle and string or yarn for stitching
Step 2: Cut out the holly wreathes template.
Step 3: Using the template as a guide, cut out the holly leaves from the wool felt.
Step 4: Use the string or yarn to stitch down the middle of each holly leaf. Tie off the finished stitch in the back of the leaf.
Step 5: Assemble holly leaves with wool felt holly berries. Glue or stitch it all together. Adorn your gift with your new holly gift topper!
