- Wipe furniture with a soft dry cloth. To remove dirt, use a slight damp cloth with a mild liquid detergent if needed. Do not use abrasives or cleaning products, including household spray cleaners, on furniture since they can damage the finish. Avoid setting hot or damp items on furniture. Direct contact with rubber or certain plastics may damage the finish. The use of humidifiers near furniture may harm the finish. Avoid putting furniture in strong daylight, as it may fade the finish.
