The Middle Daughter has taken their summer version of this style and re-fashioned for the winter season. With the possibility of a good few special occasions looming it’s been upgraded from cotton in to a soft lustrous European taffeta. Giving her a little rustle when she walks. We love shirring. It feel’s somewhat nostalgic yet modern. We like to think that every girl should have shirring in her wardrobe at some point in her childhood (or maybe that’s a hangover from our own childhoods?). If you’ve skipped it thus far, don’t resist this beauty! Made in a soft lustrous Italian taffeta with a contrast colour thread used to all shirring to accentuate. A squarish neck-line, shirring to bodice, hip and arm, with puffy sleeves and a generously gathered skirt. Fully lined and concealed zip to centre back. Made in Portugal
