- Dust with a soft, dry cloth. spot clean with a damp cloth acrylic care minor scratches can be buffed out by hand. keep out of direct sunlight brass care spot clean the marble base with a damp cloth and use a microfiber cloth to buff fingerprints on the playing pieces. if you have no patience for patina, use a brass polish never use harsh chemical or abrasive cleaners that could erode protective topcoats.
