About Mino: At the beginning of this lockdown period, we decided to buy disposable face masks for the family. However, we soon discovered that one of us had developed an allergic reaction to these cheap masks. As one of us is a graduate of NYC's Fashion Institute of Technology, we were quickly able to produce a cloth mask. Using soft cotton material, we managed to develop a completely unique and breathable design. Friends, neighbors, and family asked for similar masks to be made for them. Not only were they comfortable and easily adjustable, but these masks also looked really cool too, with beautiful prints. After this initial success, we decided to put our creations to good use by donating some to doctors, nurses, homeless, nursing homes and oncology centers. Proudly made in Charleston, South Carolina.
