- Merino wool is an antibacterial material with self-cleaning properties. It does not require frequent washing—usually, airing it out is enough. For stains, hand wash in cold water (max. 20°C). Do not risk machine washing, even on a special wool program. Do not use bleach or any harsh chemicals. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron. Dry clean without solvents. PRO TIP: To keep the wool looking its best for years, we recommend using a pet brush or a specialized wool brush. Brushing the wool fibers 1–2 times a year will help maintain their original appearance for a long time.
