Thorsun’s Fiesta shirt and swim trunks are inspired by designer George Sotelo’s childhood summer trips to Michoacán Mexico where his family is originally from. The inspiration comes from the local embroidery used by Purapecha Indians to tell a story or mark an occasion, in this case it’s a “Fiesta” aka celebration.
