Sally’s university semester living and working in Paris inspired this alphabet: including the art and architecture she studied, and a nod (or seven) to her favorite French pastries. Each letter ties its object, en français, of course!: C for Croissant, D for Drapeau, E for Écharpe. The framed print arrives ready-to-hang with hardware and nails. About The Letter Nest: Sally King McBride is a New York City-based artist and illustrator. Before launching The Letter Nest, she worked for over ten years at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and studied art history at Brown and Columbia Universities. Her watercolor alphabets derive from a rich artistic vocabulary built over the course of these experiences; her motivation comes from two young sons still learning their ABCs! Her work—both delightful and educational—will bring joy to any nursery, bedroom, or playroom.
